About Gamblers Spot

We are a team of gambling industry specialists who started this site because we got tired of seeing biased, inaccurate casino reviews that prioritised affiliate commissions over honest advice.

Why we built this site

Online casino affiliate sites have a reputation problem, and it is largely deserved. Too many of them publish five-star reviews for every casino they partner with, hide the wagering requirements in small print, and bury their responsible gambling pages so deep that you would never stumble across them by accident.

We built Gamblers Spot to be different. Our team has a combined background in casino compliance, player support, and gambling research. We know what to look for, we know what casinos sometimes try to hide, and we know how to translate complex bonus terms into plain English.

Every casino on our site holds a valid UK Gambling Commission licence. If a casino loses its UKGC licence, it is removed from our listings immediately. That is not something we are prepared to compromise on.

What we stand for

Independence, above everything

We do not accept paid placements or charge casinos to be featured. Our rankings are determined by our own testing methodology — not by who pays us the most commission. If a casino is not good enough to recommend to a friend, it does not appear on our site.

Real people, real testing

Before any casino appears in our listings, a member of our team creates a real account, deposits real money, plays the games, tests customer support, and attempts a withdrawal. We only write about what we have personally experienced.

Responsible gambling is non-negotiable

We are a UK gambling affiliate site — we make money when you sign up to casinos. That creates an obvious conflict of interest, and we take it seriously. Every page on this site carries responsible gambling messages, and we actively maintain links to free support services because we genuinely believe they matter.

Written for players, not search engines

We write our reviews and guides as if we are explaining things to a friend who wants to know if a casino is worth joining. No filler content, no keyword stuffing — just the information you actually need to make a good decision.

How we review casinos

Our rating is based on eight criteria, each scored independently. No single factor can make or break a rating on its own — a generous bonus cannot compensate for slow withdrawals, and a large game library does not offset poor responsible gambling tools.

Licence & Regulation: Is the casino licensed by the UK Gambling Commission? We verify licence numbers directly.
Bonus Terms: We read the full T&Cs. Wagering requirements, eligible games, time limits, and withdrawal caps are all noted.
Game Selection: We look at the number of games, provider quality, and whether a live casino section is available.
Payment Methods: Deposit and withdrawal options, processing times, and whether e-wallets are accepted.
Customer Support: We test live chat and email support with real questions, timing response speed and assessing answer quality.
Mobile Experience: We test on both iOS and Android — checking load times, navigation, and game performance.
Responsible Gambling Tools: We check for deposit limits, session limits, cool-off periods, and self-exclusion options.
Withdrawal Speed: We document actual withdrawal times from request to funds received.

How we make money

Gamblers Spot earns revenue through affiliate partnerships with licensed UK casinos. When you visit a casino through one of our links and create an account, we may receive a commission. This commission comes from the casino operator — it costs you nothing extra.

We want to be completely transparent about this, because it is an obvious potential conflict of interest. Here is what we do to manage it: our review scores are calculated before we agree any commercial terms with a casino. We have declined to list casinos that offered high commissions but failed our quality standards, and we have featured casinos that scored well regardless of what they paid us.
